Our Employees
-
Tim C.CEOOriginally from Western NY, Tim is a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan whose newest prized possession is the Bills umbrella given him by the DomainTools employees upon his move to Seattle 2 years ago. His favorite domain name "deal" of all time was (with the help of a generous industry colleague) acquiring and donating the BuffaloJills.com domain name to the Bills cheerleading squad in 2007 in exchange for 2 VIP game tickets and a signed Jills calendar. -
MarkDirector of Product ManagementMark's favorite toys as a young boy were Radio Shack electronic kits. He built all sorts of useful products, like an alarm that went off when his family let the cats out early in the morning (oops!). He's since moved on to more pragmatic ventures and spends most of his time crafting product strategies, although the lights in his house still run on a small loop of Perl code! -
MonicaMarketing ManagerTraveling and learning languages are an important part of Monica's life. She has lived in Argentina and Mexico, and speaks different fluency levels of German, Japanese and Spanish (in addition to English, of course). She is very adventurous with food and one of her goals each year is to travel to a new country. -
KirstenControllerKeeping in mind that Kirsten is an accountant, she claims to have a complete type A behavior and tries to mellow out her compulsive behavior with yoga and pilates! She has three daughters, ages 1,4, and 6. Unfortunately, the two older ones have already acquired Kirsten's obsession for shoes. She fears for their teenage years already... -

MaximeEngineerMaxime is always in front of a screen. When it's not to develop something, it's to play on it, or watch a TV show. That's mainly why he can talk to you for hours about Ruby, Final Fantasy and Stargate, without even noticing that he's actually talking way too much. -
ChrislainEngineerChrislain enjoys web development and sharing good tech links. He also likes sharing simple ideas, principles or concepts with others on various topics. At this moment, he's working on an epic script that can be applied to many things : "while (count($problems)) findSolution()".

But, until she learns how to walk on water, using this as a form of transportation makes it prohibitively impossible to attend meetings abroad and must rely upon common forms of transportation. -
GustavoDirector of Technology & OperationsIf you visit our offices, you may be tempted to get candy from the plastic cow on Gustavo's desk. In Gustavo's spare time, you will find him practicing AcroYoga and racing on a dragonboat team in the summer. -

Michael K.VP Research & DevelopmentA Washington native, Michael enjoys the refreshingly cool, cloudy, wet weather of Seattle. He likes to spend most of his free time with his wife and daughter. If it's 4:30 and you can't find Michael, you may want to check the office theater. He'll be busy pummeling his office mates in a competitive game of Mario Kart Wii. -
BruceDirector of EngineeringBruce loves the weather in Seattle. He grew up in the Appalachian mountains in Virginia, and also lived for eight years in upstate New York - so he knows what really bad weather can be like. He also enjoys working on mechanical things—he has an older truck he's slowly working on and plans to rebuild the quadrajet carburetor. Jason has also done quite a bit of traveling and has lived in NZ, Australia, London, and is now here in Seattle. -
Mike M.EngineerMike was born and raised in Big Sky Country (Montana) and, naturally, he likes skiing and hiking. Interesting fact: his first computer was a Commodore 64. Away from the office, you will likely find him enjoying fine Belgian ales as well as craft beers from the United States. -
