What Our Team Does
DomainTools.com is a top 200 Alexa website and we receive millions of hits daily. We track hundreds of thousands of changes each day across 200+ million domains.
Challenges We Face
- Dealing with data volume and growth
- Creating services which are reliable and respond quickly
- Architecting robust data processing workflows
We use Hadoop & custom systems for distributed processing. We also have terabyte sized databases and even larger raw data sets. Real-time searches are performed through hundreds of gigabytes of data (in RAM) over 200 systems and hundreds of daily processing tasks are in our workflows.
