Bremetennacum Bremetennacum (also Bremetonnacum, Bremetenracum or Bresnetenacum Veteranorum) was a Roman fort which is now the village of Ribchester in Lancashire (). The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The first Roman activity on the site was the establishment of a timber fort believed to have been constructed during the campaigns of Petillius Cerialis around AD 72/3.
