Domain Tools

Domain Tools allows you to flexibly upgrade your membership like never before. Domain Tools uses the concept of units to measure your account's capacity. Your account comes pre-loaded with one unit (complementary for the first six months of your membership), but you may wish to increase your ability to use the site by purchasing additional capacity.

Units and Memberships

Units are Domain Tools' measure of account capacity. Units may be used to use various Domain Tools' services such as Mark Alert, Name Server Spy, and Registrant Alert. Here is a summary of how many units are required for each service:

When you initiate a service like a Mark Alert or Name Server Spy, units are automatically deducted from your account balance. Upon deletion of your alert or service, units are returned to your balance and can be used for other services. It's easiest to think of your units balance as a measure of your account's overall monitoring capacity or power.
